Don East of Alexander City, Alabama, talks about the long history of the Creek Indians, specifically about the Hillabee people, in Alabama. "They brought with them two things that other tribes in the area didn't have. They brought with them a large-scale agriculture mindset and also a trading mindset. They traded mostly deer skins and nut oil." Don talks about the Creeks' in the American Revolution and War of 1812, as well as their eventual forced removal to Oklahoma.
