The Kentucky Mountain Laurel festival started in 1931 and has been a cherished tradition for the families in Pineville, as well as those who come back home each and every year. This film was developed by students in Pineville, Kentucky participating in the Smithsonian's Coming Home: Stories from Main Street program.
