A Saturday Night in Cozad, Nebraska

What do people do for fun in your town?

"Saturday, August 18, 2012, a nice hot day. Jessica and I were hanging out like regular teenage girls. We decided to go get some friends of ours, Janine, Marteen, and Daniel. We out to (?) to eat, and then Marteen and Daniel had to go home. They left and soon after, we went to pick up our friends Javier and Alfredo. We all crammed into Jessica's 2008 Nissan Altima. He headed to Pizza Hut to help Kaylen close. After we helped her close, we all decided to go to Walmart, the closest place to go at 10:30 at night. We all get in each other's car, Kaylen, Alfredo and I in one car, and the rest in Jessica's. We took the Interstate. We raced each other all the way there. Once we got there, girls seeked and boys hid. We had a great time, laughing, running, being yelled at by workers. But once we got worn out, tired, and all sweaty and gross, we got very hungry. We were all walking out of Walmart.

The air was hot and humid. It made me more thirty and crave a cold atmosphere. We all piled in different cars again, rolled down the windows, and tried to decide where to go to eat. Someone said McDonald's, another said Taco John's. Then Jessica says, "let's go eat at Tacos y Tortez." We all look at each other like, "that sounds so delicious right now!" We put our cars in reverse and booked it down to Tacos y Tortez. We all jumped out of our cars, and ran for the doors like wild, uncivilized people. We all sit by the windows. I get three tacos with extra lime on the side, same as Jessica. We ate 'til our tummys' desire. We left for Cozad, dropped the boys off at home, and then we all feel asleep once our heads hit the pillows."
