A vintage photo of a men's high school basketball in the 1930s.

A history of the athletic teams at Okolona High School and Simmons High School, once located in Okolona, AR. The two schools consolidated in 1969, retaining the name of Okolona High School. The school closed in the-mid 1980s as the Okolona School District consolidated with surrounding districts.

This presentation includes details about the history of the schools, going back to the 1870s, as well as a number of vintage and archival images from the school and its long-standing sports teams. The .pdf also features scans from early and mid-20th century yearbooks.
