Flag Day Celebrations in American Samoa

"So, my favorite memory of living in a small town is that we all get together for a Flag Day celebration and this is every April 17th. It's a day to celebrate our union with the United States as a U.S. territory. The community comes alive together to celebrate this union. We have a traditional Fautasi race, which is a longboat race, and we have traditional ceremonies and dances and songs. And, I'm from American Samoa."
