The Cabarrus County Youth Commission documented the historical significance of family owned businesses in the region including the Reed Gold Mine, Cabarrus Creamery, and the S&D Coffee & Tea. They also explored the many changes that have influenced these workforce environments in the past 100 years, particularly the expansion of manufacturing and use of technology.
