Barbecue and Bikes Independence Day in Marshall, Michigan

Marshall, Michigan

Story Narrative:

"In our small town of Marshall, Michigan, we celebrate the 4th of July in grand fashion. The entire town gathers at the fountain in the center of our town, and we shut down State Street. And we have a giant chicken barbecue. And our rotary community band plays all of the patriotic music that you could ever imagine. And we have a bike and pet parade that all of the kids in town participate in and decorate their bikes and dress up their pets. And it's a great day to celebrate democracy in our small town and we get to do it all together."
